Orange & His Lambs

Round Bales & Orange

This is your introduction to our newest feline, Orange. Someone dumped him off at our house. He is very obviously someone's very annoying house cat.

The Ewes Are In-Lamb

The ewes were bred starting the 18th of October. So, we will start watching for lambs to drop around March 12. I'm so excited! However, I may have gotten carried away, or rather the ram got carried away, because we have the propensity for 7-21 lambs.

Spring is Early!

In my optimistic opinion, spring has sprung!  (I really hope it doesn't freeze again!)  We have been enjoying temperatures in the 80s during the day and the 60s at night. 

Pardon Me, But There’s A Critter In My Hay…

There I was, minding my own business, getting hay for my sheep, when lo, under yonder pallet, a critter doth hissed! I screeched and laughed. Hhheee's bbbaaaccckkk!

Everybody Has to Eat

Sad story. I've been out finishing up the mowing of the pastures. We need to force a little more green and even out the hillocks.
