Oh, the joy of summer pasture! I am practically on vacation! As of this last weekend, the ewes and lambs have been put out on summer pasture and locked out of the barn. They have two big shade trees and a shelter for when it rains.

They are living their best life now. The lambs were started on hay and grain and are finished on pasture grass. The grass is so tall, when they lay down they practically disappear!

The best part of their summer pasture is that they graze the grass right up around the house, so they are very close by and easy to keep track of.
