I love, love my new Valkyrie combs. They are so nice and easy to work with. Kudos to my friend who found them first and pointed me to them as well!
I sat around last night combing a pile of Central Florida sand out of some of Rhea’s washed fleece and Tzatziki the ram’s washed fleece. Their fleeces are not alike, and the combs handled both well. Sand dunes in the house now…
Combing wool is kind of therapeutic. I think so much and too often. Hence, I’m always glad when I have something methodical and simple to do with my hands.
My only frustration was dizzing off such short roving. I think I need a long hackle to park combed wool on so I can dizz off longer rovings. I think I like this one at The Woolery. Soon!
