I’ve really been having donut cravings and also wanted to try a new recipe out of the new cookbooks my brother gave me for Christmas.

I decided to make Darkmoon Doughnuts from the World of Warcraft New Flavors of Azeroth cookbook (page 155) by Chelsea Monroe-Cassel. I’ve come to the conclusion that each recipe appears to have a surprise, slightly weird, ingredient. I actually think the surprise ingredient in this recipe (ginger) gave the icing a very unique, and slightly addicting, flavor.

First you must make donuts – don’t forget to make holes!
Then you must fry them. Mmm…donuts….
Turn leftover scraps into fluffy donut holes.
Glaze them – both sides even.
Then eat one.. Mmmm….nom nom nom.
Then ice them with blackberry/rasberry/ginger icing and chocolate sprinkles. Very yummy. You must try.
