I bought so many bulbs this fall; my eyes were bigger than my free time. I planted over 150 in the ground, but I never finished planting the rest. So, today, I’ve finished planting the remaining bulbs in pots.
The pots will overwinter in the garage, which averages 39-51 degrees F. I think that will be plenty of cold hours to get them to bloom. Now, if I can just keep the garage cats out of the soil in the pots!
I’m hoping they will bloom a symphony of color and greet Spring – and that the Husband will be encouraged – as it will have been a long first winter. (We both haven’t had winter in over a decade…)
