Well, it has happened. However, it’s worth it, if it helped contain the #EastTroublesomeFire and #CameronPeakFire. It’ll probably be melted by tomorrow anyways!

All the remaining leaves on the trees are frozen stiff, we harvested the rest of the gourds, the ram is in with a few ladies, tank heaters have been sunk, and the low tunnel (planted back on September 18) has been placed over the fall garden – keeping the plants safe from freezing temps and high winds.

Happy Fall! Back to work feeding livestock for the next 5 months, prepping for the holidays, and wishing for Spring.
