What’s in season right now?
Depends on what you planted, what’s growing, and what’s native. Right now it’s mulberry, collards, and onion season! So, I will be whipping up a mulberry crumble and some collards and black-eyed peas! We are still eating salads galore, but I’m looking forward to the beet and carrot harvest.
I have a few small heads of Chinese cabbage in the crisper that I need to utilize. I think I’m going to make jiaozi with my new dumpling kit from China. Those are good for freezing. I probably need to devote a whole day to that.
