We’ve been enjoying a non-traditional advent calendar from Flaviar this year.

(No, it’s not a cheese calendar, it’s a whiskey calendar.) Today was The GlenAllachie 15 from Scotland (kept company by some pineapple daiquiris, more for my palate than the Husband’s). We’ve been taking copious notes since Day 1! It’s been educational and something to look forward to at the end of each day.

The Husband’s job at the clinic is only getting more complicated and stressful as the pandemic drags on. Any coping mechanism we can find is a plus, no matter how small. Flaviar has been a good distraction and part of our homelife for the better part of the entire pandemic. (We haven’t been out to a bar or restaurant since February 2020.)
